What You'll Be Doing

As a Sales Administration Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the sales team by managing pricing, organizing inventory, and ensuring data accuracy across systems. This position is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working behind the scenes to keep sales operations running smoothly. You’ll collaborate closely with sales managers and key accounts, helping streamline processes, improve efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of the sales department.

 

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate pricing and documentation for used equipment to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Coordinate and track incoming inventory to maintain up-to-date records across systems.
  • Audit and correct database entries to improve data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Assist in managing key customer accounts and provide administrative support to the sales team.
  • Prepare and organize sales reports, documents, and presentations as requested by management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to support sales operations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist sales management with various sales-related projects and administrative tasks.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism in all communications.

Skills / Experience

  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to balance multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with CRM or dealership management software a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present findings clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with sales staff, management, and customers.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in auditing databases, pricing, and reporting.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle changing priorities efficiently.
  • Comfortable supporting multiple departments and contributing to team goals.

 Preferred

  • Experience with the agriculture industry and dealership management software or sales tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with inventory management processes and equipment valuation.
  • Previous experience supporting a sales team or working in sales administration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate team needs.
  • Basic understanding of marketing, advertising, or lead management processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments (sales, parts, service).

Compensation is competitive and based on skill level, experience, and knowledge.

 

Education

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent life education, preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and telephone for extended periods.

  • Close vision required for reading words and numbers on computer screens and paper documents.

  • Hearing sufficient to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.

  • Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, and bend as needed to complete job tasks.
